Ceremonies

  Bloomingdale's Georgian architecture provides several unique ceremony venues.  You and your guests may gather inside for a small formal ceremony, or enjoy a natural setting outdoors.  The hexagonal shaped front portico and the gazebo style portico offer a romantic simplicity.  Some of the Bridal couples have used one of the majestic towering trees on the grounds for their ceremony site.

Receptions and Socials:

For an inside reception or social, 100 guests can mingle in a cocktail atmosphere in the Grand Hall and its four adjacent rooms.

Use of the ample lawns with an accompanying tent allows for larger functions of any style.  Single tents up to 30 X 90 are permissible and readily accommodate guest seating, headtables, DJ or band stands, dancefloors, and other setup items. Use of several small tents offers another setup possibility.  Our on-site caterers provides a full line of event rental items.

Luncheons and Dinner Parties:

The Grand Hall with the adjoining Parlor and Drawing Room can accommodate tables and seating for 75 guests.  What was the Library is now the Dining Room where buffet style service is facilitated by its connection to the kitchen area, the Parlor and Grand Hall, which allows for convenient traffic flow.
